Our Horse Sitting Service allows your horse to be kept to their daily routine, in their own environment, reducing the stress to both horse and owner. It also alleviates the risk of infection to your horse. Whether you are going away on holiday, lack of time or your usual groom is off, we can help with our tailor made Horse Sitting Service.
Our services can include turning out/ bringing in, mucking out, skipping out, feeding and water, rug changes, grooming, exercising, field checks etc. Our service is tailored to each horse and owners needs so you can use a combination of the services provided.
Having done voluntary work at Veterinary Centres and Horse Riding Stables means we are experienced and competent at giving medication orally should your animal be on such medication from your vet.
You can rest assured that your horse is being looked after to the highest standard by experienced horse owners but most of all total animal lovers. Every horse we care for becomes part of the A1 Animal Care family and treated as an individual, not just another customer.
An initial consultation visit is made at your stables/ yard before confirmation of a booking. This consultation is free of charge. This visit allows us the opportunity to meet your horse and for your horse to meet us, also to discuss the level of care your horse needs, go through their daily routine and answer any questions you may have. We will also bring with us our insurance policy and documents, CRB/ Police Check, animal first aid certificates and contactable references from our many happy customers.
